What is your delivery policy?

WARNING

Our gift boxes contain liquor, the recipient must be 18 or over and we reserve the right to request proof of age if necessary. No persons under 18 years may place an order with Giftboxes Reserve if the goods contain alcohol. In accepting these conditions, if you are purchasing alcohol you are confirming that you are over the age of 18

It is an offence under the Liquor Control Reform Act of 1998 to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $6,000) and/or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $500) Giftboxesonline Pty Ltd, Liquor Licence Number 36119645.

Order Terms and Conditions

Giftboxes Reserve uses only the highest quality products, if an item is unavailable we reserve the right to substitute and replace it with a similar item of equal or greater value.

Delivery times listed are approximations only and we will endeavour to deliver within the estimated times. However, circumstances may arise that cause delay; in this case you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of this agreement.

Deliveries may be delayed or fail to reach destination in the appropriate time frame due to inaccurate delivery address. If this occurs we may charge a re-delivery fee.
If the gift does not arrive on time please inform Giftboxes Reserve as soon as possible so it may be traced and delivered accordingly.

Gift boxes will only be dispatched after payment has been received in full.

Cancellation or alteration of orders should be done within 24 hours. Once a gift has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled.

Giftboxes Reserve will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising after the delivery has taken place. Including and not limited to, loss or damage resulting from unattended addresses where instructions have been given to leave gifts in a certain place.

Specific dates can usually be accommodated but please ring us to discuss your requirements.
Please note that we do not make delivery on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.
Please make sure all addresses are accurate and include your phone number. This enables us and the couriers to speedily and accurately deliver your gift.

All delivery methods require that someone sign for the goods. Where no one is available to sign for the goods a card will be left requesting you to either collect the goods from the Post Office or contact the courier company to arrange a delivery.

You will be able to enter special delivery instructions and preferred delivery date for the courier during checkout. You will also be able to select an option to have the goods left unattended at the delivery address if no one is available to sign. Please note if you choose this option Giftboxes Reserve will not be liable if the goods go missing or are damaged.

Please note the following:

  • The courier or Australia Post will generally NOT call prior to delivery even if you request them to do so.
  • We only deliver during business hours and cannot provide delivery at a certain time of the day
  • Giftboxes Reserve is not responsible for the gift delivery; we use reputable contract couriers and Australia Post. While we take every care to ensure accurate and safe delivery, we cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances such as theft or damage.
  • Delivery costs and time frames will be calculated when you place your order online. Please note courier companies have guidelines we must abide by when setting our costs and time frames. Occasionally a destination may not be within a courier’s delivery zone and additional cost or time frame will apply, this sometimes applies to remote country areas, if applicable you will be advised.
  • If the glasses are to be etched or engraved or there are any other special requirements we will advise you as to the approximate time frames.

What is Personal Information?

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. We collect information to firstly process your order and second to provide you with the best possible service.

The type of information we collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address, credit/debit card details.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
We maintain the privacy of your information using the latest security technologies.

How Do We Collect Your Personal Information?

We may collect personal information in a number of ways including:

when you become a Giftboxes Reserve member
when you make a purchase, or
when you contact us with an enquiry

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

To process and fulfil your order, because most of our gift boxes contain alcohol we may need to ask your date of birth for legal purposes.
We will not use or disclose the information you give us about yourself except:

for the purpose you gave us the information
a purpose related to that reason;
or another purpose to which you have consented
to protect the the rights or property of Giftboxes Reserve

By ordering online and confirming your acceptance of our terms and conditions, you declare that you are the person named on the credit card and have permission to use it. If we believe an order is fraudulent, we may release your details to the appropriate authorities.
In order to deliver the product you have requested we may sometimes share some of your details with a service partner (such as our couriers or mailing houses). We will not give any of your personal information to advertisers or any other organization without your consent.

Unless you have told us otherwise we may use your personal information to send you notices about special offers, new products, services and other general information. You may elect not to receive these offers and information by unsubscribing on the website or by notifying us at info@giftboxesreserve.com.au

How Secure Is Your Personal Information?

Giftboxes Reserve secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Giftboxes Reserve secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol (256 bit).

Third Parties

We may from time to time, use the services of agents, contractors or third party service providers for the purpose of providing administrative, telecommunication, computing or other services in connection with the operation of Giftboxes Reserve. These external service providers are required to keep all sensitive information confidential and secure. Changes to privacy policy

From time to time our policies will be reviewed and may be revised as legislation changes occur.
Giftboxes Reserve reserves the right to alter its privacy policy at any time and notify you by posting the new version on its website.

What is your returns policy?

At Giftboxes Reserve we pride ourselves on customer service and want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
Our gift boxes are quality inspected and packed carefully, so damages are rare.  However, occasionally damages occur during transit that are beyond our control, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return your unused gift box within (7) business days from the date of delivery.  We offer no exchanges or refunds until the product arrives back to us.  The following conditions need to have been correctly satisfied:

  • Must be unused, and not damaged beyond original complaint prior to the issuance of any refunds, exchanges or credits.
  • The goods are signed for upon receipt as either “damaged” or “unexamined.”
  • The carrier and ourselves are informed at once and it is confirmed by the recipient to us in writing within 3 days at sales@giftboxesreserve.com.au
  • Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and it may be required that they be returned to us before replacement or refund.
  • Must be returned complete and in original packaging.
  • Must be received by Giftboxes Reserve within (7) business days from the date of delivery.
  • Returned goods must clearly show the full name and address of the sender.

If your order has been processed twice through a technology hitch or from multiple submissions we will refund the duplicate orders immediately.
